Apple harvest season is now in full swing. We are picking apples most every day: Ginger Gold, McIntosh, Honeycrisp and Ozark Gold.
Ginger Golds are sweet, crunchy and juicy. Great eating apples. Ozark Golds are similar to Golden Delicious. A little more tart and crunchy. Good eating and for cooking. Some customers report that they work quite well for drying.
Some of you love to eat Cortland before they are fully ripe. Today, will pick a few bushels just for you! Cortlands are excellent pie apples. Especially with folks who grew up with them in the northeast.
Fredonia and Concord grapes are ripe. You pick $1.30/lb. We pick $1.50/lb.
Mars seedless table grapes. $1.60/lb. (no you pick)
Should start picking a few figs next week.
Changing our retail hours this week and will be open on Sunday afternoon through the end of August.
Starting Wednesday, September 2: Retail Market will be open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 10:00 AM til 6:00 PM. Sunday 12:30 PM til 6:00 PM.
