Our 2009 season is rapidly coming to a end. All apples are picked and most sold, except for a few Goldrush. Some still have to ripen more before can pick.
The retail market will be open 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 12:30 PM til 5:00 PM Sunday this week.
We still have Staymans, Romes and a limited quantity of Goldrush. In fact we have quite a few one-bushel cartons of Staymans in the the cooler. Have a special price on them: $16.50/bushel. Stayman Winesaps are great for making apple pie, apple sauce, apple butter, canning slices, etc.
Have good supply of fresh apple cider, regular and "no added sugar" apple sauce, very low temperature pasteurized vacuum packaged apple slices. Will continue making these products until closing Saturday, November 21
For you who love to snack on fres hly boiled raw "green" peanuts, have a small inventory of uniquely heat treated vacuum packaged raw "green" peanuts which would like to sell before closing for the season. They are in approx. 7 1/2 lb. units and must be stored refrigerated or frozen until boiled. You can easily boil at home. How about a special treat for a holiday get together? Will give printed cooking instructions with each purchase. Price: $2.25/ lb., packages vary in weight.
Still have limited quantities of our fancy fruit preserves: Strawberry, Black and Dorman Red Raspberry, Concord Grape Jelly, Regular and "No Added Sugar" Apple Butter.
Will be holding our "SEASON ENDING COOLER EMPTYING SALE" next week: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, November 19, 20, 21. Will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Look forward to seeing you!
