Change in previously announced plans:

With the farm prep demands for two groups visiting this week, a couple of family illness situtations, and getting control of the black bear(s) doing significant damage to our bee hives, we have cancelled the making of fresh apple cider this week.

Will now make our first fresh apple cider next Saturday, Sept. 8.

The retail market will be open this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Next week we will be open Friday and Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. Will be closed Sunday, Sept. 2.

Heritage red raspberries are ripening and could have a few quarts to sell this Saturday. You should be able to do some picking by next Friday and Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.

Now have good quantity of delicious Fresh Green Virginia Jumbo White Peanuts boiled just for you!

Still in need of additional part time people to work in processing room and apple harvesting. Please call Dick Perdue at 979-8378 to apply.

Will start pick additional apple varieties right after Labor Day. Look forward to your coming to see us real soon!

RETAIL FARM MARKET HOURS for August thru November

AUGUST:
4th week: open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 10:00 till 5:30 - will have apples, bunch grapes.

5th week: open Friday, Saturday, 10:00 till 5:30 - will have apples, bunch grapes, Heritage raspberries, and figs.

SEPTEMBER thru NOVEMBER:
Starting Thursday, September 6 our retail farm market will be open 5 days a week: Wednesday thru Sunday, 10:00 till 5:30. The market will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
