This is the last week the retail market will be open. All of our apples are picked and most of them are sold. Still have a few Arkansas Blacks and Romes. If you ordered Arkansas Blacks and missed a call from us or haven't picked up, please come by and pick up by Thursday. Still have quite a few processing apples left and plan to process as follows during the week:
Wednesday: Will make pasteurized apple slices and apple butter
Thursday: Will make fresh apple cider
Friday: Will make apple sauce
Still have a good supply of wild flower and Sourwood honey. Also fresh fruit preserves and sauces.
Will sell what processing apples are left on Saturday at greatly reduced prices. Great for making apple sauce,
apple butter, apple pies, etc.
WILL CLOSE FOR THE 2007 SEASON AT 5:00 P. M. THIS SATURDAY.
While it's been a difficult season with the Easter weekend freeze and the long drought, with our great berry and grape crops, a fair to good apple crop, and your great response to our processed products, as a small business, it's been a pretty good season after all.
Many, many thanks for all your wonderful support! Look forward to seeing you about June 10, 2008 with black raspberries. Have a great holiday season! Healthy, happy and prosperous new year!
